Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care is implicit in much of what we do as a Church and inherent in who we are as a community and we aim to mirror 'best practice' in all our pastoral engagements. We recognise that we have a duty of care towards all who share our life. The Rector is the person overall responsible for pastoral care of the parish and among the congregation. However, we recognise that it is quite impossible for one person to provide pastoral care to such a large and diverse group of people, so we are fortunate to have a small but committed Pastoral Care Team who assist the Rector in both providing a confidential befriending and support service (perhaps to someone going through a time of illness or a recent bereavement) and also in responding to 'general' pastoral need.

If you know of someone who would benefit from short term support, please (in the first instance) have a quiet word with the Rector or contact the Parish Office.
